How Focused On Your Future Are You?
1) It's college acceptance time and you get into your first choice school. Right on! But your boyfriend doesn't. He wants you to go to another school that's closer to where he's going. What do you do?
- a) Guys who kiss that well are hard to find. You're so going to follow him.
- b) Ow. Tough call. Boyfriend, college. You stick with your guns, but you agree to visit him every other weekend.
- c) Forget him! You are so going find a better guy when you go to college anyway.
2) The SATs are Saturday. The hottie of your dreams invites you to a Friday night concert of your favorite band. What do you do?
- a) Bring on the music and the after-party. You can take the SATs more than once, right?
- b) You decide to go to the show, but take a nap in the afternoon and decline the after-party.
- c) You are so not risking the SATs for a hottie who will be flipping burgers while you're sitting pretty at an Ivy League school.
3) You have a consultation with the school guidance counselor who tells you that you don't have enough extra-curricular activities to get into the college of your choice. What do you do?
- a) If a college won't recognize shopping as an extra-curricular activity, then you don't want to go there anyway. Anyone going to the mall?
- b) You decide to go out for the debate team. Pad your application and learn how to talk your parents into moving your curfew an hour later. Sweet.
- c) If they want extra-curricular activities, you'll give it to them. Who needs sleep? Friends? None of those are going to get you into school. Over-committed, here you come!
4) It's the day before a big test, and you are totally clueless. While the teacher is reviewing for the test, your best friend passes you a note that says that she's thinking of sleeping with her bf that night so he'll stop dating other girls. What do you do?
- a) Pretend you just got your period and rush her off to the bathroom for some serious girl talk. Like, is she serious? The guy's a jerk and so doesn't deserve her. Who cares if you fail the test? She's way more important.
- b) You write her a note back and order her not to leave after class before you have a chance to talk to her.
- c) Disown her. As if her social life is worth you getting an "F" on an important test. How dare she write you a note?
5) The new guy sits down next to you in study hall and starts chatting. He's totally cute, but he's not exactly on the fast-track toward BMOC. A sweet geek, but hardly uber cool. What do you do?
- a) Make him move to another seat. As if you want anyone to think you're friends with him! That would so hurt your rep.
- b) Be friendly with him. Yeah, sure, he's not exactly prom-king material, but he's pretty cute and you never know.
- c) Ask to read his English paper. If it's good, he is so going to be your new boyfriend so he can help you get an A in that class.
6) Your boyfriend is out of town on a college-hunting trip and you and your bff head off to a party. A hottie you've been crushing all year saunters up to you and invites you off to a dark corner for a little "get to know you better" session. What do you do?
- a) Lead on, cowboy! How many chances are you going to get to swap spit with such a hottie? Your boyfriend will so have to get over it.
- b) Totally tempting, but you do have a boyfriend... You settle for some flirting and unspoken promise that if you're ever a free women, he's the first guy you'll call.
- c) You give him a cold glare and stalk off. Any guy who won't respect the fact you're taken isn't worth your time.
